It’s no surprise that families have been coming to East Shorewood Cottages for generations! The reasons may include spending uninterrupted time with family and friends, unwinding at the sandy beach, reading a book under the trees, or experiencing a campfire under the brightest stars. The cottages are located on a peaceful 1,100-acre spring fed Kangaroo Lake that is ideal for swimming, watersports, and picture-perfect sunsets.
The appeal to many of East Shorewood Cottages is the unpretentious unsophisticated environment combined with reasonable prices. To ensure that prices remain affordable, the cottages do not come with full-service cleaning. We ask our guests to help us out by following a simple checklist at check-out to help return the cottage to the condition you found it in upon your arrival. Kind of old school before it was cool.
